Sale-a-bration Freebies

Hello everyone, Hope you have been finding some time for yourselves and enjoying your papercraft. I have recently made a few projects with some of the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration freebies. The Mother's Day card also uses the Fabulous Forets which is is a great floral set in the Summer mini catalogue. (Soon to be finishing) The ribbon is part of the ribbon and brad pack. The purple card uses the Fresh Vintage Stamps, and the other is a card I made for my husbands 40th using some of the Everyday enchantment DSP and Pocket full of posies DSP. All the sale-a-bration products are fabulous and I don't want you to miss out on getting these freebies. Remember you get to choose one for every $100 you spend, so get those orders in!

A late "Happy New Year"

Well I can't believe one month of the year is already gone! I have had a holiday from creating and spending most of our time renovating. So just to get back into the swing of things I thought I'd share a project I made for my niece's kitchen tea present. We all had to bring a favourite recipe, so I made her a recepie book to keep them all in. The chipboard and pages were cut using the Stampin' Up! Top Note die, and lettering using the Stampin' Up! Medium sizzlets dies.



Stampin' Up!s Elements of Style stamp set floral stamp adds some quick decoration to my recipe.

I used the Beau chateau DSP to cover the outside and inside of the chipboard, and fussy cut some of the flowers for decoration.

It's so easy with Stampin' Up! Parlor Prints background stamp to give this beautiful design, seen on this page.

I really enjoyed doing this project and hope to maybe do one for myself. At least a few projects for myself for the year!

Christmas Extravaganza

As part of our ladies ministry Christmas Extravaganza night we got to make lovely Christmas craft and share some yummy treats and great company. These are 2 of my cards we did on the night.

September has been and gone!

Well I hope you all are enjoying the new Stampin' Up! 2011 - 2012 Idea catalogue. I have been busy creating with all my new sets. I've even forgotton to post my beautiful daughters birthday! She had asked me to create an art journel for her to draw in. This is what I did. The new cupcake punch and pennent bigz die made making her card easy! Happy Birthday Aliesha! We love you

For my family

Oh what a week I have had! I am taking a bit of RNR today and updating my blog for you all. My husband has been in hospital all week after a trailbike accident. This is the card I took in for him.

My son had His 6th Birthday wednesday, so in between hospital visits we had a party for his new school friends. This was the invitation using the Make a Monster and Party this way sets.

The new Pendant Parade, Petite Pennants builder Punch and Just add cake DSP made a great banner to top his monster card. I also used the banner on a brown paper bag for the gift bags. (Will try a remember to take a picture and post)

Excitement of the 2011-2012 Idea book and Catalogue.

Well some of you already have the georgous new catalogues. I hope you have enjoyed looking at all the new products. The 1st of September is when we can begin our ordering. Yeh~! Any one who would still like a catalogue I have them for purchase for special price of $10. Now for one of our new sets:


Creative Elements is one of the new sets in the new Catalogue. The lucky demonstrators who went to convention got these. I was able to borrow one and have a play and these are my cards.

This card uses the faux silk technique, with a lot of champagne shimmer paint! It was very sparkly. I have been enjoying playing with inks and creating vintage cards lately. Please see the sharing cards link for more cards I have done.
