 Celebrating my mum’s 80th today. Here is the card I made.  Choosing the beautiful Textured Chic DSP and Gold foil as my theme, I used the Celebrate Sunflowers and Sunflower dies, teamed with Jar of Flowers stamp set. And the Organic beauty background die.

I am going Icecream mad with Stampin’Up’s Share a Milkshake bundle. You can die cut the gorgeous watercolour side of the free Sale a bration Dainty flowers DSP to make terrific Icecream cones as well! 

Sympathy card

 A sympathy card for a close friend who lost her husband suddenly. I teamed the sale a bration Wonderful World DSP with the retired Strong of heart set.

Paradise Palms

As our weather is getting much colder, I am dreaming of sunshine and beaches. I used the Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms and Palm dies, The retired Seasonal layers thinlits dies, and Hues of happiness DSP. I love this retired Paper and highlighted it with the snowfall accents puff paint to replicate sea foam topped waves. The beach is definitely my happy place.

Santa express memories and more cards

 I wanted to show you these cards using the Santa express memories and more card pack with coordinating cards and envelopes from the new July- December catalog. They make it so easy to make your own Christmas cards. I only added some Thick white card stock, Variety of ribbon and embellishments and can make 30 cards!

Splendid day suite

 My cards using the Splendid day suite. Since attending Creativity Now on Saturday, I can’t stop playing with the suite. Just love the Specialty Designer Series paper. The Designer cards are one of the Free items with purchase in Salebration beginning 1st July!

Marbleous Daffodils

Here is my first card using Stampin’ Up!s new in colour card stock, Tahitian Tide. I’ve paired it with the Daffodil dies and the Sale a bration Simply Marbleous DSP. The bottle punch made a cute tag and some left over polka dot vellum to wrap the flowers. I added a gold ribbon and twine and Glossy dots which are just so sparkly. This might  have to be Mum’s birthday card now as it’s one of my favourites.

 Creative time today today to let mum know I am thinking of her while in lockdown in her Nursing home. 7 residents in her area were positive today. Please keep them all in your prayers.

Shaker Card

 One of my favourite cards I’ve made! Stampin’ Up! Colourful Seasons and Seasonal layers thinlits.

 Now I have time to play with my new Christmas stuff! I used the retired Stampin’ Up! Presents and Pinecones DSP, the continuing Merriest moments stamps and Merriest frames dies and EF. I added the non SU bell to match the paper! And I’m lining the envelopes with DSP as I go. Hoping to have more cards done and continue with fundraising in the New Year! 

Stamping for a cause

Fundraiser week for Ange started this week. I have bundled up nearly 90 cards. Each card has a fully lined envelope to match the card. Hoping these sell as money will go to the “Common Good” organisation at the prince Charles Hospital. They support the Donatelife Qld team and ICU, where her husband spent 31 weeks waiting for a organ transplant that didn’t make it in time. In memory of Brett! 

Continuing today to use up old kits for Day 5, #cardaday for Donate life. Here is some more Jar of Flowers cards. I used Pastels for colouring with a blender pen. I also used Stampin’ Up!s  Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set for the verse. The Subtle embossing folder gives the card stock beautiful texture don’t you think! And I’m liking the 2021-2023 In colour Jewels as highlights too! 

Acetate and Blends

Today’s card Day 4 #cardaday for fundraiser DonateLife, using the Jar of Flowers stamps, Greenery embossing folder and retired DSP. The jar is stamped on acetate with stazon ink and the Stampin blends alcohol markers colour from behind so as not to blur the stamped image. 

Yesterday’s card follows. Day 3 #cardaday for fundraiser DonateLife. It’s amazing what can come together from scraps on your table! A quick card at the end of a busy day. I used  the Fine art Floral stamps, Hydrangea hill DSP and the Greenery embossing folder. 

A Cut Above

 Today’s card uses the Stampin’ Up! Stamps “A Cut Above”. I had so much fun colouring with the blends!  The hammock is fussy cut out from the soon to be retiring Fine Art Floral DSP. The background and envelope liner from the retired Forever Greenery DSP. Arh! I wish I had got some more before it went out of stock! 😢 I also used the Stitched so Sweetly and the retired Stitched Nested labels dies.

Hello

I finally navigated my way back to blogger! I may need some retraining, but will endeavour to upload more regularly now. I may have been absent but still continue as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. 14 years last April. Gosh where has that time gone! 

Always looking to inspire myself to create, I set myself a goal this year to contribute my cards for a fundraiser to DonateLife Queensland. Today being the 1st June, I’ll attempt a card a day. 

Here is a feminine take on the Sweet Ice cream stamp set. Using Purple posey and Blackberry bliss. The reverse side of the Hydrangea Hill DSP made a lovely soft background. What do you think? 

Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

Well I finally managed to login to my blog! Pinterest and life may have got in the way, but I never stopped loving stamping and cardmaking.

I’m currently finishing off Candy Cane tree hangers for the Creekside mainly music children. 80 hand stamped and hand written tags, using Stampin’ Up!s current Sweet storybook and the deleted First Christmas stamp sets. I just love this baby Jesus in a manger stamp!

Remember in all the business leading up to Christmas, Jesus is the Reason for the season!
