Embrace Life:
This is another of the new Summer Mini sets that I just Love. They also showcase the new All Scollops and Say it with Scallops sets. The colour combination of the For You card is one of my favourites. Groovy Guava, Rose Red, Regal Rose, River Rock [ not quite as my camera has shown]. I have also used the new 1" Rose Red double-stitched ribbon. the Hi card uses Ruby red as in the new Ginger Blossom paper.

Summer Mini Catalogue: Dec'08-Mar'09

December is here and Christmas is fast approaching. Hope you all had enough time to do at least a few Chistmas cards. I have only done a portion of what I would have liked to do. Please have a look at my sharing cards site for these.

Now the new Summer Mini is here. How many more great sets can they come up with! We even have our own set called Ocean Commotion, shown below. This is used with an embossed resist technique and brayered background. The colours are Tempting Turquiose, Taken with Teal and So Safron.

This is an embossed resist card again, using the new Eastern Blooms set and Happy Everything sets. The paper is from the new Bali Breeze series, and for extra texture the new Flower Fusion flowers.

Hi everyone, I've finally crossed something off my to do list. We painted a feature wall in my daughter's room. I couldn't go past the Bold Butterfly set for this one. To help match in the quilt cover I also added some flowers. The Friendship Blooms, Love without end, and Bodacious sets gave me the flowers and swirls. She love's it! And I am very happy with my first attempt to stamp on the walls. If you were unable or not quite sure about this, stamping on canvas would also give you a great look for decorating, without being permanent.

Hi Everyone, I can't believe it has been 3 months since my last blog! My two children and I have celebrated our birthays. Mine being the big one! My husband and I escaped for 5 glorious nights on our own to fiji. Since returning, my busy schedule, illness and organizing party's has meant I couldn't bring myself to navigating my way around doing this. I'm still slow to working it all out! Anyway here it goes. Enjoying all the new sets in this years catalogue, has meant lots of different cards. The spring mini then launched even more fabulous sets to get and play with. I have had a great class this term at community learning, and we tried a few new techniques. Digging out my old brayer and experimenting with colour, sponging, embossing, and using the blender pens in "blurred vison" has opened up a whole new style for me. I know I have enjoyed growing in this way and hope you all have too. Now I'm starting my cards for next term and trying to start my Christmas cards. Time is running out. Arh!! What happened to my new years resolution to do one a week. I was well under way this time last year. Here is a case of one my downline, Fiona came up with. I loved the colours!! Hers was embossed resisted though, like my other.

Please check out the others on the sharing cards site. I'll try to upload them soon and keep adding more as I do them, so I don't get so behind. God Bless and happy stamping. Jo

Hi everyone,

June is here! I've had a busy month creating since the last post. I've been experimenting with techniques and found a new favourite: Baby wipe technique or direct inking with re-inkers and alcohol to stamps. Please see all my new cards in Sharing Cards link. My downline team, Fiona Gibson, Melinda Meakins and I had a business trade stall at Muller College. We had a fun day playing with our stamps while we shared a little about what we do. Here is a picture of Melinda in action. Remember this month is eScape with Stampin' Up! Put down the phone, turn off the computer, and break free from the "e"! I'm going to attempt to send a home make card to all my friends and loved ones. How about you? Happy creating and God Bless, Jo
